One of the many important parts of the body is the shoulder. This part is greatly responsible for the movement of a person. If the same is impaired, the life of one could be temporarily or even permanently affected. One of the common complains that doctors receive is pain in shoulder.
Such pain could be a result of many things. And like any other physical ailment, the same needs to be properly diagnosed so that it could also be properly treated.

One of the causes of pain in shoulder is rotator cuff tendonitis or bursitis is the most common.
What happens in this kind of condition is that the bone is separated from the rotator cuff’s tendons. Oftentimes, one would need surgery for the same to be treated.
We also have what we call frozen shoulder as another cause of shoulder pain. Otherwise known as adhesive capsulitis, what happens is that the joints of the shoulder have become stiff. Stretching and physical therapy would have to be done for to treat this cause.
Calcific tendonitis is also another cause of pain in shoulder. This has to do with the tendon’s calcium deposit condition.
The treatment for the same depends of the symptoms experienced by the patient. Shoulder instability is another cause of pain in one’s shoulder.
This could happen due to traumatic injuries like dislocation or it could also be a condition that has slowly developed. Basically, what occurs is that the joints in the shoulder becomes loose, making it not stable.
There are other causes of pain in shoulder that you can learn about. Such include shoulder separation, labral tear, SLAP lesion, arthritis and rupture of the tendons in one’s biceps.
